For World Cup 2010, I ditched work and hosted a staycation adventure: waking up early and heading to bars and restaurants to celebrate the beautiful game in the world's greatest city. Brazilian bars for Brazil games; Korea-town for Korean games; you get the picture. It was a beautiful glut of soccer-watching and experimenting with Uruguayan meat cuisine and Dutch morning drinking.

Participants were able to follow the Adventure on Twitter for location and schedule info: https://twitter.com/WC_AdventureMap and weekend Adventures attracted 2 - 3 dozen people. AM New York profiled the map in their World Cup guide to New York City.

Also, the map was made available for people to get venue ideas and create their own Adventures.
